The best id wallet and key chain I have ever owned January 11, 2008

I have gone through about 1 key chain and ID wallet a year for the last 8 years. I like to keep my license and gym card with my keys so that I can go to the gym or run errands in workout clothes and no pockets. Since using this system, I have stopped misplacing my wallet.
My primary complaint with the last few key chain wallets I have owned is durability. The wallets tend to fall apart where the ring meets the leather, and the leather tends to be flexible, increasing its wear. The Clava is very sturdy, and the leather is stiff enough to protect the cards it contains.
The price of the Clava might seem a little high in comparison to comparable products you could buy in any mall, but it is well worth it for the higher quality and increased durability.

I first want to let you know that you can purchase this identical CLAVA product (through Amazon's site) at a much less expensive cost if you are willing to purchase it in a different color. For some reason, the brown and black ID/Keychain holders are almost double in cost than the other colors. I purchased this more expensive black version as a gift for a man. However, I also purchased myself the green color CLAVA Id Holder/Key Cahin(from Amazon's website)for nearly half the cost of what I paid for the black. The green is a very nice color and aside from the color differences, these two ID Holder/Key Chain products are identical in appearance and feel. I started using this style of ID Holder/Key Chain in College and still prefer it 15 years later! When you open the ID holder, there is a clear plastic pocket on one side and on the opposite side is another ID holder with a zipper change pocket attached. Each pocket can fit more than just one ID. I can fit my drivers license, credit cards, insurance cards for my 2 children and myself, receipts, money, photos and membership cards inside the pockets of this ID holder and still manage to have room for loose change in the zipper pocket. This wallet also velcros closed, which is a nice feature! The outside of this wallet also has another clear plastic pocket, which I use to display a photo of my children. I don't think I'd use the outside pocket carry my drivers license or another valuable ID card just for fear that it may slip out and get lost. I also love the convenience of having my keys attached to the Id holder. I like that I don't have to worry about driving to the store and running inside to realize that I forgot my wallet in the car or at home.
