Very good support although the elastic strap is not the greatest in keeping it in place. In spite of that, I have 4 of them for both my wife and I in both of our vehicles.

This inexpensive lightweight back support is a perfect way to keep the back comfortably supported while sitting, no matter what kind of chair you have. I don't bother using the straps to secure it, but you certainly can do that. I move it from chair to chair so that I always have it with me. I've given several as gifts. You can't go wrong with this product.

Cool back support, but not for in car use August 6, 2008
This is a cool back support that I purchased for in car use, but now I use it with my office chair.
If you are planning on using it in the car, forget about it! There are two reasons why it does not work:
(1) It's simply too large. It will push you away so much that the side supports won't hold you in the seat any more. So every turn you make you'll end up sliding to the opposite side. Extremely annoying!
(2) It's mash cover will allow air to blow against your back, which even in summer time can be a surprisingly uncomfortable feeling.
On the other hand I found it to be PERFECT for in the office use. I use it with an office chair that has a relatively long back, but lacks any back support. It makes a huge difference. It helps me keep a better posture so I can focus much longer.

At first I was a little skeptical about this product. I thought what I needed was a lumbar support pillow. But I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised. It allows me to sit back in my seat comfortably and supports my back perfectly. The mesh material is durable and allows air to flow through, so my back remains nice and cool. So far I have tried it in the car, in my office chair, and even on the couch and it has worked great everywhere.
