$10 will save your shoulder September 1, 2008
I bought two of these while I was in the SF Timbuk2 store on Hayes, and I've never looked back. I own a large classic messenger, which is AMAZING in terms of the sheer amount of stuff you can lug around. Unfortunately, it's so convenient tossing things in that you don't realize how much stuff you're really carrying around on one shoulder. The strap pad saves you from a massively sore shoulder, especially if you're carrying the bag all day while moving around. A must-have for anyone planning to carry more anything heavier than 1 book, 1 ring binder and 1 pen.
Car comfort September 25, 2007
I've had my Timbuk2 messenger bag for three years or so, and it's a great product. The accessories are almost as fun, and the strap pad and cell phone case are my two choices. Sometimes I have to drive my car, and when I do I use a Timbuk2 strap pad on my shoulder belt for all-day comfort. Schweet.
