beautiful piece but not practical November 12, 2008 this needs to be a smidgen bigger in each of the 6 slots. I have to put the big piece of the charger in one and then put the cord over into the next slot, meaning that I can only take 3-4 somethings instead of 6. But it IS beautiful and easy to carry. I love BuiltNY stuff.
Just what the Doctor ordered August 16, 2008 This is really well made, EXACTLY as described, quite attractive and reasonably priced, although larger than I imagined until I looked closely at the description. The pockets neatly hold a MacBook power adapter, flash drives, cell charger, cable adapters.... Be aware however that there wouldn't be room for in the pockets for the much larger power adapter that's attached to, for example, an HP laptop and there is not a space in the middle between the two sides - exactly as described. For my wife's needs, this was an excellent value, and I'll be looking at other items from Built NY.
Great for my purposes, but make sure it suits yours... July 17, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I wanted a way to organize several USB charger cords. I have an APC battery backup that I will be taking on a flight to Europe. With it, I can charge my Archos video player (via USB cable), Samsung Instinct phone, iPod mini/shuffle and various other gadgetry. The only big plug I have is for the battery pack itself. It's a bit of a squeeze. But seeing as I only need a little space for the other cords, it's not a big deal.
I cannot see that this would fit a large notebook cord. Most definitely would not fit a MacBook pro adapter, even the new smaller plugs. If you had several A/C adapters this too can pose a challenge. There's a reason the photo shows the big ac plug spilling out of the bag, it just wouldn't fit.
It's good however, for what I wanted, and much classier than a bunch of ziploc bags.
Pretty Pockets too small June 20, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this to go with the laptop sleeve. It has pockets inside and is pictured holding what looks like a mac laptop charger of some sort. It doesn't really fit the charger for my macbook well. I have to put the power brick part in one pocket and the rest of the cord wound between two other pockets. Unless your laptop's power brick is exceedingly small, I don't recommend this bag for it. Buy the lunch bag instead. I ended up using this bag for cosmetics and toiletries when I travel.
Too Small for Daily Use, But Great for Travel May 28, 2008 I purchased this with the idea that my laptop power cord would fit snugly into the bag with room to zip up. No dice. This is more for cell phones, iPods, and other compact devices. The dimensions of the openings would be about 4-inches deep by 2-1/2-inches wide. So, if your items don't fit into that small of a space, this wouldn't be the charger bag for you. Sadly, I will be using this solely for travel.
