 Sturdy and Good-looking December 30, 2008
Bought this for my son's school backpack. It's got nice strong zippers, is very sturdy and well-made. The straps have padding and a cell phone pocket. It holds loads of stuff.
Zippers are everything on a backpack, I'd buy this one again for the zippers, even if it didn't have lots of nice pockets.
I've never actually carried it - but I tried it on and it seems comfortable.

My old backpack was literally falling apart, so when I saw the good price for this one, and read the good reviews, I decided to buy it. I'm quite glad that I did!
The backpack can hold quite a bit (and believe me, I shove a lot into it as I frequently visit friends overnight and such) and it seems very durable and strong. I haven't had any issues with it, and I like the various compartments.

I bought the backpack in blue. Shipping was very fast - arrived the next day. It is not large enough to fit all of my textbooks, but it does have a good amount of space compared to other backpacks in the same price range.
Comfort level is good as well; I appreciate the convenience of the cell phone slot in the handle, although I use it for my MP3 player. On the whole, it is a good backpack.

As a joke, I call this my "man purse." I use this thing every single day, and I'm not gentle with it. I carry a varying amount of stuff, and have used it on one shoulder and on my back. Had no problems getting it comfortable in either location.
There are enough pockets for me to carry what I need. It swallowed a notebook no problem with plenty of room, so it's a nice size for students who would end up carrying more. The interior pockets in the "second" big pocket hold a variety of things nicely, and the little hole for headphone wires is convenient.
I like the pocket on the strap, too. I keep my cell phone there, and it's big enough to keep it snug without worrying about it popping out. Whenever this pack ends up giving up, I'll definitely be looking into buying another.

It's got plenty of cargo space. I gave up an old messenger bag for this pack with no regrets. I carry a macbook & accessories, sketchbook, novel, lunch, and other smaller misc. items. I never feel that I'm running out of space. It's very comfortable and I highly recommend it.
