Product Description Who says your computer case has to be clunky and ugly to protect what's inside? Built's Laptop Portfolio Case is sleek and elegant. Made with extra-durable strong-rib weave a unique grade of neoprene especially made to protect divers against punctures and abrasions from coral. Best of all, slide it in and as it conforms to the size of your computer, its unique bone shape creates an instant built-in bumper system for extra protection.

Pleased with purchase August 26, 2008 I have had this bag for about 7 months. I do not carry my laptop around that much, so I only use it minimally, but so far it has been good for my needs. It holds a decent amount of accessories, and holds my smaller macbook well. I haven't had any problems with it breaking or stretching. It also had a very cool look to it and is not bulky like other bags.
Definitely not for strap users. April 21, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
If you have bought this and want this product to last then you are best to carry it by hand. Over time in use, the strap clip will either break off or rip the bag from the heavy weight. This is because the material is so soft that the weight of your laptop will give too much pressure to the strap. Especially when you have a mouse, ac adapter, usb hub or extra battery. Although the laptop may weight 3 - 4 lb, extra peripherals may drag it to 5 - 6 lb. It has pockets so you are bound to think of putting more things in it when you should be taking things out. Good Luck!
Built NY Bags are very Poor Quality February 5, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Purchased two of these bags for my wife at Christmas. She used one of the bags for about 3 weeks befor the pocket snap broke off. Very cheap aluminum snap that breaks very easy. The shoulder strap end ring that is connected to the bag is already lose and ready to come off. These bags look great and my wife and her friends loved them, but they are so cheaply made that they won't last long. Fair Warning

I never would have spent this much on myself, but for my granddaughter.... Anyway, she liked the new laptop, but was ecstatic about the bag, giving it her highest accolade, "COOL!" It is a bit short on functionality (only accomodates a 15" screen laptop with a bit of stretching, pocket for power cord and mouse is not only small, but has only snaps, not zipper, so things could fall out). A real plus is that it is very lightweight, which helps given the weight of the backpack she has to lug around. All in all, I got an "A+" from her, which, as they say, is priceless.
Pleased with my Portfolio Case! January 3, 2008 I am pleased with my portfolio case. It fits my 15" MacBook Pro very snugly, the material is sturdy, and the shoulder strap is a plus. Also, the color pattern is a welcome change from the usual black sleeve.
