Good size to fit lunch plus any little things you don't want to get lost in the bottom of your child's backpack. I thought the color name "English Purple" was a bit confusing--I never would have guessed that meant it was lavender printed with horses and english saddles. Only gave 4 stars because zipper sometimes gets caught up.
