I bought the bag about a month ago, and I have yet to have a problem with it. I only have two complaints about this bag though; First of all, the shoulder strap adjust will slip if the bag is heavy enough (slowly, it doesn't fall all at once), and second, I'd have preferred if the eagle pattern on the bag was a patch instead of an iron on pattern. Other than these two minor complaints, I think that this is a very high quality bag. The canvas seems to be very durable, and I can easily fit all of my books into it.

I love the casual look to this bag - it doesn't have much structure though. Once you put a hardcover notebook in it, it holds its shape much better. Lots of room for everything, attractive and rugged looking. I love it.

Durable and looks great! I travel a lot and tend to overload my bags, destroying 3 in the last 6 months; this bag has survived, and still looks fab. My best buy on Amazon yet.

well i've had the bag for a couple weeks now, and its holding together just fine, and it hasn't rubbed any color off on my clothes (in case you've read the other reviews and were wondering)
the pouches are plenty spacious for my needs (laptop, textbooks, bottles of tea and so on)
however the shoulder strap (as others have noted) is fairly short, but i haven't really had a problem with the length, as much as the width and the material itself. The material of the bag is a lot floppier than i had expected and the same material was used in the arm strap, so i constantly have to untwist it
my only other gripe is the color, because (at least for the olive drab bag) the picture looks about 3 shades greener than the bag i actually recieved, the material is also not weathered as the picture appears to have been
on the whole a decent bag, but a misleading picture

Ok, I really like this bag!!! However where I live there are restrictions on items made in China so if the bag is made in China I can't order it. :(
Please somebody tell me where it is made. I couldn't find this info on Amazon. Thanks in advance.
