 Stylish, Just the Right Size and Shape, Convenient, and Keeps Food Cool October 19, 2008

This lunch bag has the following pluses:
First, it's stylish for adults. The colors and design are nice.
Second, it's just the right size and shape for me. The outside is 12" x 9" x 3" (per my measurement, with items inside) and the walls are thin so the interior is about 11.5" x 8.25" x 2.5". Because it's rectangular, it fits well into a briefcase.
Third, the bag is convenient. The shoulder strap is removable, so if it gets dirty or breaks you can replace it. The zipper, which goes around three sides, has two sliders. Inside the lid is a large mesh pocket that closes with Velcro. In the main compartment, a panel about 2.5" x 8" snaps in two positions: one position is out of the way, and the other position divides the main compartment into two to "keep[] water bottles or thermoses from rolling on your lunch."
Finally, it keeps food cool. The lining is a metallicized (reflective) plastic, which (per the eBag Web site) is made of BOPET (Biaxially Oriented Polyethylene Terephthalate). A tag says that the insulation is 3M Thinsulate 60 gram. To test the effectiveness of the lining and insulation, I placed several ice cubes in a glass bowl in this bag and in a rigid 6-pack cooler similar to Coleman FlipLid 6 Personal Cooler, Blue, and the rate of melting was about the same.
Minor drawbacks: An outside pocket would have been nice. The handle is non-padded and is on the small side (with a clearance of only about 1.5"), so if you have big hands your knuckles will scrape the top of the bag. I wish that it had a clear plastic sleeve to hold a business card, or that it came with a luggage tag, for identification purposes.

Bag is very nice and "grown up: enough for a high schooler to take his lunch . Holds all of a teenagers lunch time needs. Water bottles fit nicely. Great contruction!

I wish it could be bigger like one inch wider, one inch longer, and one inch taller...but out of all my lunch bags...it is the only one that I use now!

I love this product because I take frozen meals for lunch sometimes, and they fit in there perfectly. It even has a separate compartment for a normal size water bottle. It fits other meals great, as well! I highly recommend this product. I can't think of anything I would change!
